Flower Committee

Flower Committee Workshops

Saturday Nov. 11th we will have a flower workshop to work on arrangements for the Church bazaar, it is hard to believe that the next Saturday, Nov. 18th will be the Bazaar! We can use all the help we can get to make floral arrangements to sell at the Bazaar.

Saturday Nov. 25th will be another workshop to make arrangements to sell at the Cookie Walk December 9th.  We will need some cut white pine, juniper, spruce, cedar, holly, boxwood for the making of the  arrangements . We will take anything else you think can go on the Christmas arrangements. We hope to have some lovely baskets, wreaths, swags, holly trees and centerpieces to be made to sell at the Cookie walk.

Saturday December 2nd we will decorate the church for Advent.  The Christmas season will be here!  It is always such a busy time for everyone.  Each week as another advent candle is lit, I try to pause and appreciate how much is getting done.

Decorating the church is always done on the Saturday before the first Sunday in Advent, which is December 2nd this year.  The decorations always come down on the Saturday before Epiphany, which is January 6th this time.

All are welcome to come to the church school wing on any of these days (November 11th, November 25th, and January 3rd from 9:30 a.m.).  It is a fun and busy time as we decorate, talk and beautify the church (inside and out).  So, please come and join us.  Bring a friend if you like.  The more the merrier and a merry day it is!
